Studies on the critically endangered Neotropical primate Plecturocebus caquetensis have mostly focused on its ecology and behavior, leaving a gap in our understanding of the functional aspects of its bone structures. To address this, a morphometric analysis of the pelvis and sacrum was carried out on three juvenile female specimens from the biological collections of the Institute of Natural Sciences of the National University of Colombia and the Natural History Museum of the University of the Amazon. The analysis produced eleven variables for the pelvis and nine for the sacrum. The study found that the length of the ilium (LI) and the length of the pelvis (LP) showed the highest variability, likely due to their interaction with muscles involved in locomotion and their correlation with obstetric conditions, respectively. Additionally, the sacrum was linked to variations in tail length (including presence/absence) and function, as well as in the shape of the caudal articular surface and the mediolateral width of the transverse processes.
