Health, understood as an integral concept, summons us again in this 15th edition of the FACSalud UNEMI magazine, to a deep reflection on the multiple challenges we face in the contemporary medical and scientific field.
The articles that make up this edition reveal the complexity of our research work, addressing topics ranging from the most vulnerable stages of life —such as neonatology and childhood— to conditions that significantly impact the quality of life of various population groups. We highlight the diversity of methodological approaches: systematic reviews, epidemiological studies, analysis of risk factors, and clinical case reports. Each work represents a fundamental link in the construction of scientific knowledge, contributing to a broader and more rigorous understanding of health phenomena.
