Digital educational resources facilitate a dynamic and above all, active teaching-learning process for mathematics by integrating these tools meaningfully; this allows students not only to acquire information regarding mathematical content but also to participate actively in the classroom. The general objective of this study was to analyze high school students' perceptions regarding the role of digital educational resources in the active learning of mathematics at the Juan Montalvo Fiscomisional Educational Unit. The study employed a mixed-methods approach with a descriptive research design; the target population consisted of two teachers and 300 high school students from the Juan Montalvo Fiscomisional Educational Unit in the city of Manta, with a sample size of 169 students. Two data collection techniques were used: a survey administered to students and a semi-structured interview conducted with the teachers who teach the subject at the high school level, using a prepared question guide. The results showed that 65.7% of respondents believe their learning improves when teachers use digital educational resources, as these tools enable them to learn dynamically, autonomously, and at their own pace. Ultimately, the use of digital educational resources fosters active learning in mathematics and leads to a positive perception, as technological resources allow each student to participate actively and with greater motivation
